Also known as yellow gold, the ultimate interpretation of the concept of terroir, which is the combination of soil characteristics, climate and processing that man brings. Made from Glera grapes from very old vineyards from which a very precious few bottles are produced. A sparkling wine in which minerality, acidity and residual sugar blossom in perfect balance, giving this wine a unique elegance. A sparkling wine that can be enjoyed on many occasions, from a simple glass of wine, to a high-quality end to a meal.

The grape variety is still Glera, but it comes from the Cartizze area, which is one of the most vocated areas for production in Valdobbiaden,and which covers 107 hectares. The soil in this area is mainly moraine and limestone, and this gives the wine that fine, mineral feel that balances well with its acidity and residual sugar. Cartizze is in fact produced in a Dry version, as the ripening of grapes in this area leads to the production of a sparkling wine of this gradation.

Unlike the classic line, Cartizze grapes start separately from the harvest, undergo their own process and arrive separately in the bottle. An ‘additional difference is the resting on the lees in the autoclave, which is 60 days: not too long, so it makes this sparkling wine maintain an excellent freshness.

Tasting temperature 6-8°C

Pairings: excellent as a start or end of a meal. One can have fun finding the right match, looking for the most pleasant combination.

ANALYTICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 11.50% vol.
SUGAR RESIDUAL: 19 – 21 g/l
TOTAL ACIDITY: 5.50 g/l

It is distinguished by its delicate characteristic fruity fragrance. Very light straw yellow color. Fine and persistent perlage. Recommended at the end of a meal with dessert.
It is best enjoyed at 6-8°C in glasses preferably bellied to enhance the aromas.
