VALDOBBIADENE PROSECCO SUPERIORE EXTRA DRY GEMIN
Spumanti Gemin Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry
For the classics, namely the line Brut, Dry and Extra Dry, you have to make a premise. A substantial difference between these three types is the starting cuveé, or the assembly of the different origins. During the harvest we have the opportunity to vinify separately the different areas and then trace the vineyards of origin of the grapes. This detail enriches our choice at the moment of the formation of the cuveé, which usually takes place in December. In this period the wines are kept at low temperatures on their lees to develop structure and aromas. From each tank a sample is taken and the formation of the cuveé begins, formed according to the origins of the grapes, the intrinsic characteristics of each tank and the final objective. That is, whether you are going to produce a Brut, an Extra Dry or a Dry. This process allows us to give constancy and personality to these three products. These three Valdobbiadene DOCG are also distinguished by residual sugar and pause on the lees in the fermentation
Produced from the grapes of the younger vineyards. It is the most pleasant type, as with a residual sugar not too dry or too sweet. An explosion of fruits and flowers that make this wine perfect for an aperitif or to taste a glass with friends.
