VALDOBBIADENE PROSECCO SUPERIORE BRUT GEMIN

For the classics, namely the Brut, Dry, and Extra Dry lines, a premise must be made. One major difference between these three types is the starting cuveé, or blending of the different provenances. During the harvest, we have the opportunity to vinify the different areas separately and thus trace the vineyards where the grapes come from. This detail enriches our choice at the time of cuveé formation, which usually takes place in December. During this period the wines are kept at low temperatures on their lees to allow them to develop structure and aromas. A sample is taken from each vat and the formation of the cuveé begins, formed according to the origins of the grapes, the intrinsic characteristics of each vat and the final objective. That is, whether you are going to produce a Brut, an Extra Dry, or a Dry. This process allows us to give consistency and personality to these three products. These three Valdobbiadene DOCGs are also distinguished by residual sugar and resting on the lees in the prise de mousse in
autoclave.

Made exclusively from grapes from hillside vineyards. This type has always been a flag for Gemin, as it represents the best expression in terms of balance, of the Valdobbiadene territory. A complex wine with many nuances that can be tasted on different occasions.

VINIFICATION: In white by means of soft pressing
PRIMARY FERMENTATION: Temperature-controlled and with selected yeasts
SPARKLING: In autoclave with Charmat or Martinotti method

ANALYTICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
ALCOHOLIC STRENGTH: 12% VOL.
SUGAR RESIDUAL: 8 g/l
TOTAL ACIDITY: 5.50 g/l

Very light straw color, intense and dry aroma, lively and bitter taste. Continuous fine-grained perlage.
Excellent as an aperitif and recommended throughout a meal with fish.

It is best enjoyed at 6-8°C in glasses preferably bellied to enhance the aromas.
Available sizes: 0.75-liter and 1.5-liter magnum
