The heart of the Spumanti Gemin production process lies in our pressing cellar, which stands proudly among our family vineyards. It’s where we place the grapes picked during the harvest, before fermenting them in tanks in the same building.

Founded in 1978, the Gemin winery embodies a rich wine-making heritage while also serving as a symbol of innovation and technological progress.

The Spumanti Gemin winery presents a perfect blend of the past and present.

While the foundations highlight its history and tell the tale of its origins, the interior is breathtakingly modern. State-of-the-art equipment and cutting-edge wine-making methods ensure that every single grape is handled with the utmost care and precision. As a result, the authenticity and essence of the local area are preserved, as the grapes are made into superior wines.

The combination of traditions and modern methods didn’t come about by chance. A carefully considered decision has been made to pay tribute to the past while also looking to the future, thus ensuring that Spumanti Gemin is always ready to cater to the constantly evolving needs of the wine market. What was a simple building in 1978 has now become one of the most advanced wineries in the industry. It’s ready to write the next chapter in its illustrious story.

Production process

Following the fermentation process, our wines are transferred to pressure tanks in the main winery. Using the Charmat method, they undergo secondary fermentation in tanks for at least 90 days. This period is extended to as many as 180 days for some wines. The traditional, artisanal process is the secret to our unmistakable quality.

Following the secondary fermentation process, the sparkling wine is carefully prepared for bottling. At this point, our comprehensive production line springs into action and empty bottles are transformed into finished products that are ready to be shipped.

Our approach to production is based on strict, comprehensive control of every stage in the process, from the beginning to the end. Quality is a top priority in Gemin products. We can guarantee it every time thanks to our in-house production facilities, which cover every step in the process. This enables us to monitor and control every aspect of all production procedures, thus ensuring that each bottle of Spumanti Gemin wine truly encapsulates our dedication to excellence.
